Operating Hours - Terminal and Departure Lounge
The Airport terminal opens at least one hour prior to the first flight of the day and closes 30 minutes after the last flight of the day. In general, this is 5:30am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 5:30am to 7pm on Sunday. Please note that the security screened departure lounge may open and close depending on the schedule of departing flights. The departure lounge will be open at least one hour before and 30 minutes after each departing flight.
Departure Lounge Facilities
The departure lounge is designed to cater for up to 300 passengers and their guests in air-conditioned comfort and contains Biggles Flight Lounge café and bar. Access to this area is open to the general public, subject to security screening.
Passenger and baggage check-in
With the final stage of the upgrade now complete, there is an expanded passenger check-in area and new baggage claim carousel.
Port Macquarie Airport recommends that you allow plenty of time for check-in and security procedures.
The arrivals area contains car rental desks, a car parking payment machine, ATM and baggage claim (including excess baggage).
Toilets are available beside the arrivals area and within the departure lounge and include both disabled and ambulant toilets.
Free Wi-Fi is available at the terminal through Port Macquarie-Hasting Council’s Wi-Fi network.

No Smoking Area
Smoking is not permitted inside or within 10 metres of the terminal building.
